Coty Hires Nathalie Durán Jennifer Weil PARIS — Coty Inc. keeps building up its management structure, most recently with the appointment of Nathalie Durán as senior vice president of luxury fashion brands. The seasoned beauty executive, who started in the role earlier this month and remains based in Paris, reports to Simona Cattaneo, chief marketing officer of Coty's luxury unit. In her new position, Durán oversees perfume brands such as Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Miu Miu, Tiffany, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen. Between 2012 and 2016, Durán served as international general manager of designer fragrance brands at L'Oréal, which includes labels such as Maison Margiela, Cacharel, Diesel and Viktor & Rolf. During that period, she also sat on L'Oréal Luxe division's management committee. Starting in 2008, Durán was deputy managing director of Yves Saint Laurent and held positions at Giorgio Armani Parfums and Cosmetics and Lancôme, all at L'Oréal, as well. Products developed under Durán included Armani's Code for women and Emporio Armani Diamonds, and YSL's Rouge Pur Couture, Vernis à Lèvres and La Nuit de L'Homme. For Viktor & Rolf there was Bonbon, and the Replica Collection at Margiela, which were created under her management. Durán started the Proenza Schouler fragrance license, too.
